Brentwood Running Club Wins Civic Award

Members of the BRC Commitee and guests were delighted to attend the Brentwood Civic Awards dinner on Friday April 5th to receive an Award for Service to the Community from the Mayor of Brentwood, Cllr Gareth Barrett. The award recognised that Brentwood Running Club has been at the heart of the community since it was formed in 1987.

In additional to helping to organise the Brentwood Half Marathon and supporting events such as RideLondon and the London Marathon, our Club and Members also support a large number of local charities most significantly raising over £200,000 for Saint Francis Hospice.
