3. What does running mean to you?
It’s an important part of maintaining my well being and gives me time to decompress . It’s enabled me to meet new people. It represents resilience and team work which align with my values.
I enjoy the team camaraderie and have missed that since the pandemic .
4. What is your best BRC memory?
There’s been a few. Some of the standouts have been the organised BRC entry races - the Grizzly , Benfleet 15 (that last Hill ) Whitstable , Great Bentley half, taking part in the inaugural Brentwood park Run and the Essex way.
Not forgetting the volunteering opportunities particularly VLM and Ride London - amazing experiences .
5. Proudest running moment?
I have two I’d like to mention
Supporting new runners to complete the Brentwood 10k
Finishing Halstead marathon in extremely hot conditions
6. Best bit of running advice you could give or have been given.
