**Brentwood Running Club Takes on the Whitstable 10K in Annual Away Day Tradition**

Members of Brentwood Running Club swapped their usual local routes for sea air and coastal views this past Monday, as the club made its much-anticipated annual away day trip to Whitstable to take part in the popular Whitstable 10K.

With an early start and a coach full of energy, runners of all abilities travelled together to the Kent seaside town, continuing a long-standing club tradition that blends racing with camaraderie. The event has become a highlight of the club calendar, offering both a competitive challenge and a chance to socialise beyond the usual training sessions.

Following the race, members gathered to celebrate their achievements with well-earned refreshments, taking advantage of Whitstable’s famous seaside hospitality. Fish and chips, coffee stops, and plenty of laughter rounded off a successful day.

The annual away day continues to be a cornerstone of Brentwood Running Club’s community spirit, strengthening friendships and creating lasting memories with every mile.
