Brentwood Running Club's Annual 3 Mile Time Trial Run
Set your baseline time for 2023 then try to beat it later this year in the Club's handicap race.
Meet at The Brentwood Centre at 7:30pm and we will walk across the Doddinghurst Road to the park where the time trial starts and ends.
Marshals will be available to guide runners around the course.
Huge shout out to Mark Foster and Nicola Burney-Gunn who just completed the Marathon des Sables, a six-day, 250km ultramarathon, which is approximately the distance of six regular marathons. This multiday race is held every year in southern Morocco, in the Sahara Desert, with the longest single stage being 91 km long.
Here is them showing off their medals gained after enduring heat, sandstorms, mountainous terrain, blinding sun, cold desert nights and many many miles.
